Lulworth Castle, Dorset Wedding Photography
The Jurassic Coast and Lulworth Estate provided beautiful backdrops for the wedding of Danielle & Joe. Hazy conditions, dusty rose colours and a stunning historical church. All of which contributed to timeless wedding photographs.
I woke up early to travel from West Sussex to Dorset. I arrived to find lovely weather and breathtaking views overlooking Lulworth Cove from the garden of Rudds, a fantastic location for the wedding preparations and reception later in the day.
I was excited to be with Danielle until she travelled to her ceremony. I loved the shots of her entering her vehicle, surrounded by everyone going about their day.
I jumped into my car and drove ahead of the bridal party to give me enough time to photograph Joe's arrival at the stunning St Mary's Chapel. The clear windows and Georgian architecture created a lovely atmosphere for the couple's ceremony.
We were blessed with hazy, bright conditions while taking formal and confetti shots outside the epic Lulworth Castle, conveniently located just a few steps from the Chapel. The wedding party moved back to Rudds, Lulworth, for an intimate and emotional wedding breakfast full of laughs and speeches.
The water was so close to the reception venue that it would be rude not to take a walk down for a few photographs! One of my favourite ways to capture couples looking natural is to walk with them. I love the movement and the story the images tell.
