Green Escape, West Sussex Editorial

I always love working with incredible creatives from West Sussex, Surrey and the surrounding area.

The intimate Green Escape is the perfect location for simple rustic weddings with accommodation rolled into one. Part of the National Trust woodland on Leith Hill, Surrey, the site is right in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cosy shepherd huts surround a woodland ceremony area with freestanding natural frames perfect for handing flowers and decoration.

I enjoy editorial wedding photography over winter because it gives me the perfect opportunity to sharpen my skills, try new techniques and connect with industry vendors. This inspiring photoshoot was no different! The day started with a selection of getting-ready photographs - I loved the bouquet April held for the day. Chrissy from Bud & flower did a fantastic job with the flowers!

Will & April are a real-life couple, so running through a wedding day with them was a breeze. After a lovely ceremony, I wanted to get a high vantage point to capture a shot of the couple from above. I love how this shot turned out, and I'm excited to offer it to future couples on engagement shoots or even on wedding days! I made sure to document the stunning table arrangements, cake and wedding invites.

Throughout the day, I switched between photos and video, and I'm delighted with everything we created together!
