Durdle Door, Dorset Engagement Photography
In the weeks leading up to the photoshoot in Dorset, I worked with Karolina to figure out a mood board and styling for the shoot. Going the extra mile makes all the difference, and I love the combination of smart and casual outfits the pair brought along. The rugged stone, long dry grass, golden beaches and teal water inspire me creatively, and I love hiking along the cliffs in my free time.
Starting up on the cliffs, I wanted to capture a mix of movement and intimate moments. I then hiked up a neighbouring hill to capture the whole scene with Karolina and Kai in the distance.
As the sunset, we walked down to the beach, where I continued to capture details and environmental portraits. I loved the shot of their boots while they had a little kiss. I'm a huge fan of images that allow your mind to fill in the rest of the scene.
Karolina & Kai changed into their casual outfits. I wanted these images to be more playful and lighthearted, and I'm delighted with how they turned out. Couple shoots like this are the perfect way to warm up to wedding photography!
